ADATA's SD 8.0 Express card doubles the PCIe width of the 7.0 generation to Gen3 x2 and carries NVMe over it, reaching 1,600 MB/s read and 1,200 MB/s write — an order of magnitude past UHS-I, and faster than most portable SSDs.
The card is offered at 512 GB and keeps U3 and V30 ratings, so sustained video write stays above 30 MB/s in hosts that fall back to the legacy bus. Built-in LDPC error correction protects the flash, and the card is water-resistant, shock-resistant, and rated for temperature extremes.
