Overview
What this part is for
The Premier Extreme SD 7.0 Express card replaces the SD bus with PCIe Gen3 x1 and the NVMe protocol, which takes it to 800 MB/s read and 700 MB/s write — roughly one and a half times a SATA SSD, in a card that weighs two grams.
In hosts without SD Express support it falls back to UHS-I at U3, C10, and V30, so the same card works in existing cameras and readers. It is waterproof, shock-proof, X-ray-proof, and static-resistant, tested from -25°C to 85°C, with ECC on the flash and a lifetime warranty.
