Overview
What this part is for
URBAN TAPSAFE is ADATA's security-first portable drive. A USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface carries up to 1,900 MB/s, while access is gated by an NFC tap from a paired phone rather than a typed passphrase — the drive locks itself again the moment it is disconnected.
The companion app grants access to as many as nine users, each with read-only or writable permissions, which suits shared production and field-capture workflows. An integrated clip mounts the drive to a phone cage or camera rig, swappable magnetic covers let a team colour-code drives by project, and the unit is backed by a five-year limited warranty.
