What this part is for
The UFS31A series is ADATA's embedded UFS 3.1 managed NAND, supplied in the JEDEC 11.5 x 13 x 1.2 mm package with 153 balls on a 0.5 mm pitch. Controller, firmware, and NAND ship as one qualified device, so the host board needs only the MIPI M-PHY interface.
UFS 3.1's full-duplex serial link and command queueing give it a clear advantage over e.MMC for multimedia handsets, tablets, personal media players, and other low-power embedded systems. ADATA supports the series with long-lifecycle supply and fixed bill-of-materials control, which is what embedded programmes need across a multi-year build.
